ELF QUAD REVIEW

ELF (Eyes Lips Face) is a cosmetics known for its affordable makeup line. They have everything, from usual face powders, eyeshadows, eyeliner, lipstick to mineral makeup. They also offer makeup brushes. Back then, I’m not familiar with ELF, I didn’t even know what it is until one day, while I’m watching makeup tutorials in YOUTUBE, I noticed that most of the gurus and viewers are using and talking about this product. I find it interesting since I’ve been seeing ELF in most department stores.

My first ELF product is their “brightening eye color in PRETTY N’ PINK”, I find this quad very cute! 

 

PRETTY N’ PINK – I love PINK! So, I really liked the colors from this quad.

  SILVER LINING – I love the dark blue/navy blue like color from this quad, I also love the charcoal color, it is very beautiful and good to wear during night time. However, I find the lighter colors (off white and light purple) not good. They never give a cool effect once applied.

 NOUVEAU NEUTRAL – I LOVE THIS QUAD! It is intended to use for daytime and from the word itself “neutral” it is a very cute neutral colors. I just simply love it!

 IVY - i love greens!!! i just love the greens in this quad, i can use this as a smokey eye also!

 LUXE - this is my FAVORITE quad! i can make lots of look in this quad, the red burgundy like color is so pigmented! you'll really fall inlove in this quad if you're a fan of ELF!

 TEAL DREAM - though it's not pigmented as expected, the colors here are cute and buildable!

MATTE MAUVE - from the word itself "matte" i think this is the only matte shadow in their brightening quad line. i also love this but the looks that can be made in this quad is very limited.

Here is my take on ELF BRIGHTENING EYE COLOR. It seems pretty shimmery because it has glitters on it but, it’s very useful. I love the way it reflect on the eyes when it is applied.

PROS

• each quad has a light, medium and dark tone to mix and match, as well as blend to achieve both a natural and dramatic look 
• it really last long (it stays on my eyes the whole day) 
• pigmented 
• lot of colors to choose from 
• very compact (can be brought anywhere) 
• cute packaging 
• VERY CHEAP! (P 129.75) 
• available at any department stores nationwide

CONS

• I can't find much to complain about ELF's Brightening Eyeshadow except for one thing but very minor. The size is very small, much smaller than any eyeshadow compact I'd ever seen.

VERDICT

E.L.F's Brightening Eyeshadow quad is a great product for a very affordable price. Although it's small you get four colors in one compact. I'd no doubt buy more and would recommend this to anyone.

REPURCHASE? Absolutely! Love the quads!!!!
