L’oreal is known for its beauty products, from hair products, facial wash, whitening and other anti-ageing products to makeup such as foundation, powders, eyeshadows, lipsticks and the likes. L’oreal is really one of the trusted brands in its industry.
My sister’s been using this L’oreal dermo expertise hydrafresh anti shine, I really don’t pay attention to this product because I’m afraid using other products on my face ‘coz it might worsen my acne. During the SM thanksgiving sale last year, I went to the mall to buy new set of clothes, the clothes section is just near the beauty section. I’m surprised that a lot of people are looking at the L’oreal counter so, with curiosity I also checked their counter. I’m fascinated by the packaging of their products it’s cute on my taste. While checking their items, I saw this product then I remember my sister is using, I saw in the tube that it has “active purifying minerals” which I know is good for the skin. I want to buy it that time but I’m a bit hesitant to do so. When I got home, I asked my sister about this product, she gave good feedback on this. She have a spare facial foam and offered me to use this hydrafresh (just give it a try, before buying a big tube for myself), so I accepted it.
After one week of usage, I notice that my face is beginning to brighten up, less acne. However, it fails on its promise of “anti shine”. I really have oily skin and this product can’t control the oiliness so I’m a bit disappointed.
The product is “foam” form in mint green color. It justifies the name “icy foam” because once applied on the face you will really feel a cooling effect like ice. It’s very refreshing!

Repurchase: no. I started seeing a dermatologist so, no need to purchase drugstore brands (of course, makeup is an exception) NOTE: my dermatologist also sells makeup so we really clicked together. =)
I recommend this to those who have problems with acne because it has purifying minerals which is good for the skin. Make sure to try this first alone so you’ll never be confused about the result.
