REVIEW: REVLON COLORSTAY LIQUID FOUNDATION

Oily/Combination Skin in Sand Beige

This is the first Revlon foundation i've tried. I'm eager to try this one out because i've been hearing and reading lots of good reviews about this product.

I have an oily skin that's why I'm really looking for those products that can control my face's oiliness.

I bought this revlon colorstay at SM Department Store in Makati for P 825.00. I asked the help of their beauty advisor since it's quite tricky choosing my shade because i think sand beige suits me as well as nude. Good thing, she said “sand beige” which is one of my choices.

At first try, i already noticed a difference; it didn't leave my face matte but it lessen the oil. When I’m still using other foundation, after 2 hours or more my face starts to have oil and I have to retouch but, with revlon colorstay I don't need to retouch the whole day. I put it in the morning before going to the office around 7am and when i go home around 6pm it's still ok. I have witnessed it myself that this Revlon foundation is a very nice product.

For those who want to try a foundation that will help control the oil, try this one it's a great investment.

The only downside of this product is the packaging. It comes with a glass bottle and a black cover. To get the product, you have to pour it in your hands; unlike other liquid foundation in a pump up bottle which is more hygienic and convenient to use. This one is so messy.

PROS
  • controls the oil
  • looked natural
  • the shade is right for me (i'm acidic)
  • the foundation is not that heavy
  • very lightweight (as if you're wearing a powder)

CONS
  • smell is a bit strong but eventually runs out after application
  • packaging
