glamournix: JOURDAN MILLER IS AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL CYCLE 20

ANTM Guys and Girls (known as cycle 20 or 2.0) recently concluded its winner and it happens to be Jourdan Miller. I’m not really a fan of Jourdan but, she really is an amazing model. She dominated this cycle wherein she won 5 best photos prior to finale and 2 best photos again during the two part finale (Guess and the “tree-thing” photo shoot).

ANTM’s top 3 are Jourdan which represents Sunrise Smize, Marvin for Booch Blue and Cory, Fierce Fuchsia. Eliminated models were invited to the Runway Finale and play a very important role as finalists’ catwalk crew. Each of them had the chance to choose which team they want to support.

By the way, according to ANTM Alex wasn’t able to choose what team she’ll be supporting as she had to return to the US to be with her sick mom.

The team supported their chosen model while shooting for a Guess campaign.

The following day before they shoot a Fashion Feature, Johnny (their creative consultant) told the models that they can win a thousand dollars if they’re on the winning team. Mike from Team Cory switched to Jourdan’s team.

20 minutes before the final runway, Tyra Banks went to the backstage and announced that only two models are competing in the runway. All of the judges (Kelly, Rob and Bryanboy) entered as well to give their comments about the Guess photo shoot. All of them received great comments from the judges unfortunately, Cory was eliminated. Even after being eliminated, Cory is still part of the final runway.

After the final runway, Marvin and Jourdan did a photoshoot on a tree where Tyra explained to them that they should be one with the nature. Tyra did their makeup as well as directed their photoshoot. Both models did a great job!

Now, the final moment!!! I thought Marvin’s gonna win this because judges are really praising him during the deliberation but, I’m not surprised with the result. Both models are great and they both deserved to win.
