I was really happy when I started to make and line my own
brows. I have a very dark and thick eyebrows that makes me look like “Betty La
Fea”. I regularly pluck/shave my eyebrows to have it in shape and groomed
however, my eyebrows doesn’t match well. My left eyebrow’s hair growth is nice
and clean, very easy to shape and groom on the contrary my right eyebrow is
just rebellious as my crowning glory! J
I am having hard time to match them so, I have to work really hard on eyebrow
powders or pencil to make my brows look identical.
There comes a time where I almost cried because I have attend to this formal event and my brows aren’t in good shape. I have to go to a salon to have my brows done (time consuming PLUS, I have to put out a money in my pocket). Haha! Anyway, moving on since then I swore to myself that I will practice very hard on this. First thing’s first, I have to own a very good eyebrow powder or pencil in order for me to practice. So I came across this palette from ELF, I got the shade in Medium. Since I have dark hair I have to go on a lighter shade so that it won’t overpower my brows.
This comes with a gel and powder, a dual applicator and mirror. ELF Studio Lines seems to have a hint of NARS packaging. It makes their products look classy and expensive.
The applicator is very useful! Thumbs up! J
Performance! The gel and powder works really well. You can
use them separately or use them together, use the gel and top it off with the
powder for finishing touches. However, if you have really oily skin be careful
of retouching cause you might erase or smudge it.
