REVIEW: FX Flat Iron Spray

Since I have curly hair, i use a flat iron when I want to have a straight and shiny hair. Flat irons, blowers and other heat infused materials can damage the hair so, it’s best to use a heat protectant before having your steamed.

It was a hard time looking for a heat protectant spray here in Philippines, there’s a lot available however, most of them was only available at the salons and will cost too much. Good thing, when I was at the Department store beauty section I saw this FX Flat Iron Spray. It only cost P 300.00 much cheaper compared to salon exclusives. There was no tester so, I wasn’t able to try it if it smells good or what. Honestly, I hate the smell of hairsprays! J

Luckily, when I started using this is doesn’t smell like a regular hairspray. It smells like a shampoo just in liquid form. It is easy to apply, just sprit it for about 5 inches away from your hair to distribute it well. Then, comb your hair as preparation for ironing.

To be honest, I did not see any difference using this. I still got split ends and I feel like I just wasted my money on this but, since it’s a “heat protectant” I still want to purchase this as substitute for expensive sprays out there. It still lessen the damage that my hair gets when just directly putting heat.

I like the packaging though. The spray is very soft, not hard to press. The detailed information were printed at the back as well as the manufacturing and expiry date.
