I’m looking for makeup products last week with my friend when I saw this SHAWILL cosmetic. At first, I really don’t pay attention to it because their offerings seemed a bit like a rip-off. They had cream eyeshadows (single) running for P128 each. Eventually, I saw Shawill at SM Bicutan (again with a friend), with better display, so I ended up looking at their product. My friend saw this 12 color palette and asked me to give it a try. I find it cute and easy to apply, and what really caught my attention and the reason that convinced me to buy that is the PRICE! For only, P148! I’m a bit scared because it’s very cheap and very shimmering, but the bottom line is I purchased it! I’m very excited to go home so I could give it a try. When I got home, I immediately washed my face to dust off the dirt. First, I swatched it to determine the color combination I’ll use. While applying it, I was surprised because the packaging says it’s a “cream shadow” but hey! It’s hundred percent POWDER! Another thing it’s very shimmery!
PROS
- The packaging is cute
- The price — 148php for 12 eyeshadows
- Pretty pigmented
- Different types of palettes to choose from
- Expiry date on the bottom of the palette 2017(although..I’m not sure if I believe it.) hehe
CONS
- it is overwhelmingly glittery!! But, it turns out it is only the top layer with glitter.
- The packaging says 12 color cream eyeshadow, although the eyeshadow is clearly powder
- grammatical error on the packaging (understandable–it is packaged in China but made in Italy)
WILL I REPURCHASE? No! One palette is enough! hehe
