After a very exciting series between the POWERADE-RAIN OR SHINE and PETRON-TNT, the final seat for the Philippine Cup Finals has been booked! Last night, Tigers went very strong to end the Game 7 of their series 107-98. On the other part, Petron loses to Talk n' Text in a heartbreaking loss with 92-91.
To tell you honestly, I'm really a fan of Brgy. Ginebra Kings unfortunately, they loss to Rain or Shine in the quarterfinals. During the start of the semis, I'm rooting for Petron (San Miguel) because they are my second favorite team in the PBA.
I really don't care what will happen in the Powerade-Rain or Shine series but, I watched their series. Why? I'm very fascinated to Gary David and the rookie Paul Lee. I'm, not their fan and i don't like them but, they really play well. The series went 3-2 in favor of Powerade but, the Painters went back in Game 6 to tie the series in 3-3, that sends them to Game 7.
On the Boosters and Texters series, Petron is already one game away since Game 5 because they already have the 3-1 advantage over the TNT. Unfortunately, the Boosters can't pull a win away. Texters won in Game 5 making it a 3-2 series. Game 6.. a lot of people are thinking that Petron will win because they have the advantage but, TNT won AGAIN making it a do or die game for both teams in Game 7 which happened last night. And yes, a heartbreaking loss for Petron! They lead as high as 12 points in the second quarter and controlling the ball game but, TNT is just strong! I have to commend Ali Peek, Jayson Castro and Ranidel de Ocampo!

By the way, I've been a fan of PBA since i'm a child, I saw Danny Idefonso won back to back MVP titles and several championship! Two or three years ago i said "he'll be retiring soon" BUT!!! during the semifinals, he plays like a rookie. Hats off for you MR. TWO TIME MVP (raise the roof)!
