I bought this Tresemme Smooth and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner Trial Pack last December (as you can see there's still a greeting card of Happy Holidays). I really love my L'oreal Shampoo (click here to view) but I'm seeing lots of raves about this online and I just can't resist the feeling that I should try this too. I also fell in love with their TV commercial. It really buy me.

I love the fact that they have a trial pack in 90ml because some of the trial packs i saw comes in sachet and can be used 2-3 days (so how we will be able to get the enough results, and decide if we should purchase the big one or not). This line from Tresemme is intended for those with dry and frizzy hair, like me.

Well, as for me this shampoo works very good! I say "very good" as in great! It really made my hair smooth and shiny even without using the conditioner. My hair used to be very dull if i used shampoo alone but with this, I can live a day or more without a conditioner. My dull and frizzy hair improved a lot. It really did add shine to my hair but of course not to the extent that as if you're wearing a hair serum or what. It looked a bit healthy.
I soooooo love this conditioner!!! This conditioner is really a great combo for their shampoo, if i used them together my hair really looks healthy and gorgeous. It made my hair so smooth, sometimes (well actually, most of the time) after taking a bath, i just use my fingers to comb my hair. I didn't even need a wide toothed comb to run through my hair, my fingers is just fine (of course, when my hair is slightly damp, i have to use a comb or brush to set the hairstyle i want). i also love the smell, not too strong and not too light, it's just fine.
The only downside o these products is that I got dandruff. I really hate it because it's very itchy and a lot. I never want to stop using these because it really improved my hair so, I using a trick. Every other day i switch shampoos, i use Head and Shoulders Anti Dandruff shampoo. I use TRESemme every MWF and H & S every TTHS. Every Sunday (which is my rest day), I use Nizoral Shampoo for deep treatment of my dandruff. Seems that trick works fine for me, maybe not for everybody but it really worked on my hair. They also said that sometimes when the hair is already immune with the product, it looses the effect so, switching shampoos may not immune my hair with TRESemme.
PROS
- it makes my hair smooth and shiny
- my hair looks gorgeous (for real)
- it is very affordable (Trial Packs: P 89.00 and P 284.00 for 250ml bottles)
- easy to find, you can find these at Watson's or any beauty sections of Department Stores or Groceries)
CONS
- it causes dandruff (on me)
- the trial pack has no pump or any nice bottle mouth so there's a waste everytime i pour the product on my palm
VERDICT:
i've seen many brands promise salon results but TRESemme actually does as promised!
