REVIEW: Wet 'n Wild Mega Eyes Creme Liner

Finally, I got my hands on this stuff!!!! Sooooo happy! Today I’ll be talking about my Wet ‘n Wild Mega Eyes Creme Liner experience. J Who’s excited?!?!?!

Okay, here we go! I saw this Wet ‘n Wild Mega Eyes Creme Liner in Landmark Makati at Wet n Wild’s counter. There are two girls who were in a fuss when they have it in their hands. Of course, me… I got curious about this.  Before I buy some stuffs (especially makeup) I consult first the opinion of makeup gurus in youtube. So, when I got home and finished my dinner and household duties (oh, a hard working daughter here) LOL! I searched in youtube “makeup review and tutorial “Wet ‘n Wild Mega Eyes Creme Liner”, there are lots of review and tutorial out there. So, I watched it and was convinced that I should own it as well.

So, ta da! I got it!!!!

I bought this at SM Makati for P 399.00. The packaging is, so.. so.. It is in thick plastic and have all the details printed. Unboxing this is sooo easy however, I got disappoint when I finally opened it. It has a plastic wrap as well but, the container itself looks cheap. It is made out of plastic and the cap is also plastic and it doesn’t blew me away. L

The brush is a bit thick for an eyeliner brush. Of course, when doing eyeliner we prefer to start in a very thin line and we can only achieve it if the brush is nice and consistent.

After all my disappoints in the packaging and brush, the good part here is, it’s very pigmented! Thumbs up! Unlike elf’s Cream Liner, this one doesn’t smudge. The ELF one looks more expensive than this but in terms of performance, the Wet ‘n Wild is far way ahead.

However, after having this in my makeup kit for only 2 months, it started to dry up. I know that eyeliners and mascaras are only good for 3 months then you have to throw it away but, I never expect it to dry that fast. Some of my eyeliners last for a year without drying, sooooo sad.

PROS
  • Creamy
  • Really black (pigmented)
  • Doesn’t smudge or budge despite my oily lids
  • Lasts a really long
  • Waterproof
  • Can be used as a lower liner without having a raccoon eyes
  • Price, for the performance it’s ok

CONS
  • Plastic container
  • Brush
  • Dried after 2 months.. L
